Role Overview
We are looking for a Deputy General Manager – HR to lead our Fulfillment and Resource Management function. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the timely and quality fulfillment of manpower requirements received from clients for contract hiring, where employees are on RMG’s payroll and deployed at client sites.
This role demands a leader with a strong hiring DNA, people management capability, and a result-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract staffing, team leadership, and multi-industry recruitment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfillment & Hiring Delivery
• Lead end-to-end fulfillment of client manpower requirements under contract hiring and deployment models.
• Ensure timely closure of all positions as per agreed client SLAs.
• Manage sourcing, screening, selection, onboarding, and deployment of candidates across multiple domains.
• Maintain a robust candidate pipeline to support recurring and volume-based hiring.
• Ensure quality of hire, compliance documentation, and proper onboarding of employees on RMG payroll.
Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor a team of 20 recruiters, coordinators, and account executives.
• Drive performance culture with a focus on accountability, speed, and closure.
• Develop team capabilities through regular reviews, feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Foster collaboration between the recruitment, HR operations, and client servicing teams.
Client Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for client fulfillment needs, escalations, and planning discussions.
• Work closely with client HR and delivery teams to understand project-based manpower forecasts.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and performance.
• Participate in client review meetings and business discussions to align hiring delivery with strategic goals.
Operational Excellence
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly hiring performance and take corrective actions where needed.
• Use data and analytics to track fulfillment ratios, joining ratios, and hiring efficiency.
• Optimize sourcing strategies across portals, databases, referrals, and vendor networks.
• Ensure 100% compliance in documentation, background checks, and onboarding processes.
Leadership & Strategy
• Partner with senior leadership to align the fulfillment function with business objectives.
• Identify process gaps and implement best practices to improve hiring turnaround time (TAT).
• Contribute to overall workforce planning, forecasting, and resource optimization.
• Lead initiatives to enhance RMG’s positioning as a trusted contract staffing partner across industries.
Required Skills & Attributes
• Strong expertise in contract hiring, RMG operations, and large-scale fulfillment.
• Proven ability to manage multi-client staffing operations across industries.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with a focus on performance.
• Analytical mindset with comfort in managing data, dashboards, and hiring metrics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of HR compliance, onboarding, and payroll coordination.
Qualifications
• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
• 10–15 years of experience in HR fulfillment, resource management, or contract staffing.
• Prior experience in managing large teams and multi-client hiring is mandatory.
• Exposure to industries like IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, or BFSI will be preferred.
